Severn Trent Sewerage Works

Severn Trent have written to inform us that they need to carry out sewerage upgrade works in order to reduce future sewer flooding and pollution. This work is due to take place throughout the Stroud area beginning in Autumn 2021,  and will write later in the year to confirm a start date. However, first of all, they need to carry out some site investigation, to help decide the best way to carry out the future work. The team will need to check the ground condition which will be done by digging in multiple locations within your area.

 Important information

This work is due to start on week commencing 1 March 2021 on Bath Road and will take approximately three days to complete. Following this, they will need to return on 31 March 2021 to carry out work on a section of Wallbridge for a total of approximately three days.

Although it’s really important, this work may be inconvenient. It will involve putting in temporary traffic lights on Bath Road, as well as a give and take system in place on Wallbridge, in order to keep the public and Severn Trent employees safe and complete the work as quickly as possible. They apologise  for any nuisance caused during this essential work. Please note that the programme can change due to circumstances out of their control.
