Royal Mail Heroes Stamp Design Competition

The Rosary School is participating in the national competition to design new stamps that honour the key worker and volunteer heroes of the coronavirus pandemic.

Eight pupils' designs from schools across the UK will be selected, with great prizes for the children and the schools. Her Majesty The Queen will approve all the winners!

There are many heroes to choose from - NHS frontline workers, delivery drivers, teachers and school support staff, bus drivers, vaccine scientists, cleaners, food bank volunteers, military personnel - all of whom have continued to work tirelessly to keep the country moving.

The eight winners will receive £1,000 in high street vouchers and our school will receive £1,000 in cash. There are also 120 prizes for regional winners and runners up. It would be amazing if one of our pupils designed a stamp to be used in the whole of the UK!

How to enter

The children will receive official entry forms from school. All designs need to be returned to school by Friday 21 May 2021 so we can post them with our school entry form.

Parents will also receive a data protection letter detailing how their children's name and age will be used.  We are entering as a school, so no private residential addresses will be used.

There is information on the entry form about what can be included in the design; for further details see the competition website
