Monday- To edit a non-chronological report

Wednesday- To write the diet paragraph of a non-chronological report

Thursday- To write the closing paragraph of a non-chronological report

Friday- Use this time to write up your non-chronological report in best as a whole piece of writing. Consider your presentation and layout carefully.

Please record their reading in their reading records, as usual, and upload a photo on Fridays of the reading they have completed each week. What lessons are the BBC showing? 

From next week onwards, the BBC will be airing lesson programming for both primary and secondary school students to “ensure all children can access curriculum-based learning” throughout the current COVID-19 lockdown. 

For primary school students, there will be a three-hour block of shows broadcast every week day on CBBC, from BBC Live Lessons and BBC Bitesize Daily, to other educational titles like Our School, Celebrity Supply Teacher, Horrible Histories and Art Ninja. 

When are BBC educational programmes on TV? 

The BBC channels begin airing educational content for students stuck at home during the pandemic from Monday 11th January, with lesson programming airing each week day

CBBC will offer three hours of primary school programming from 9am

 

 

 

Compulsory Homework:

  • Reading 4x a week
  • Spellings- Read, Write, Inc. and Rainbow Spellings
  • SPAG Mats
  • Maths Mats

Optional Homework:

  • Homework Grid - Photograph your task and send me your photo via Seesaw.

Useful Information:

  • Book Change Monday and/or Thursday
  • PE- Friday afternoons (come in school wearing PE kit) 
  • Forest School alternative Mondays starting the 7th September (come into school wearing kit)
